The Southern Strategy
Since the 1970s, the Republicans’ Southern Strategy was to divide and conquer along racial lines. In 2020, Dems have real chance to win with a message of unity that appeals to a broad coalition of people. This month our fundraising energy is focused in two states: North Carolina and Georgia.

We will have multiple trainings, webinars, Q&A’s, Resistance Cafes, and other online events throughout the month so we can hit the ground running in September!
Week #1
Monday, August 3
Learn how to register and mobilize under-represented voters of color in voter suppression states during this workshop/work session with special guest Lisa Ferino from Reclaim Our Vote.
Tuesday, August 4
Resistance Cafe, join us for a working session with other activists. Put into practice what you learned on Monday!
Wednesday, August 5
Learn Slack, the communication tool almost every texting organization uses. Lean Left’s textbank maven, Drea Thew, will be the trainer.

New Postcard Effort with
Reclaim Our Vote!
Before we tell you about this new postcard drive, aren’t you curious about the people at Reclaim Our Vote? Join us next Monday when Lisa Ferino, a member of the Core Team at Reclaim Our Vote, is our special guest for a workshop and optional phone bank session.

Our new postcard drive will assist Texas voters in the November election by giving them an easy way to find their early voting location. These postcards can be written now but must be held for mailing between September 1st and 5th, after voting locations have been made available.
