First, some housekeeping:

  • Endorsements: The OCDP Endorsement and Screening Committee and Executive Committee approved endorsements for the August Primary Election. Candidates are listed on ocdp.org.
  • Primary Election: We are about a week away from the Primary Election on August 4, and last weekend marked 100 days away from the November Election! This means that it’s time to get involved! Sign up for one of the dozens of phone banks going on every week, and get ready to hit the ground running on August 5!
  • Absentee Ballots: Since we are only a week out from the Primary Election, please hand-deliver your completed Absentee Ballots to your local clerk’s office, rather than mailing them back. Many have a 24-hour drop-box for convenience. Your absentee ballot needs to be returned to your local clerk by 8pm on Election Day. Find your local clerk’s address and contact info HERE.

There are plenty of virtual events this week, I hope you are able to tune-in to a few! More events are added every day, so keep checking our calendar at ocdp.org/calendar to stay up-to-date or to see it in a calendar format! Send me any other upcoming events at staff@ocdp.org.

Going to an event this week? Forward this email to your friends and neighbors to get them involved too! Have them join our email list HERE!
