In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Americans across the country are calling on Congress to take urgent action to ensure that voters can safely participate in our democracy.

We know that reforms like vote-by-mail, early voting, and online voter registration will ensure that voters can safely cast their ballots, but to get those implemented in time for the upcoming election, Congress must act now.

On Wednesday, May 13, please join us for an online event with Representative John Sarbanes (D-Md.) to discuss the urgent need to protect our vote – and how all of us can join the effort.

RSVP to join our online event with U.S. Representative Sarbanes this Wednesday at 8:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM PT.

We’ll discuss what Congress can do to secure our elections, and what all of us can do to build the support needed to implement these reforms, including plans for a nation-wide day of action scheduled for May 23.

Reports show that we need at least $4 billion in federal funding for states to implement vote-by-mail programs, expand early voting as well as online and same-day registration, and ensure the safety of voters and poll workers.

To win funding in time to secure our elections, we need to take urgent action to make our voices heard.

RSVP to join us this Wednesday for an online event with Rep. Sarbanes to discuss our upcoming day of action.

If we act together, we can win the funding that we need to secure our elections.

P.S. Can’t make the call? RSVP to sign up to host a socially distant action on May 23rd. We’ll provide both digital and drive-in options for activists, and will follow up with resources and to support event hosts.
