It’s been another week of no that’s not how the US government works, actually from the power-grabber-in-chief – so we’re here with another week of things you can do, from fighting racism to promoting voting to cheering on one of our Members of Congress. Stay safe, wash your hands, and read on!

Hate crimes have risen exponentially against Asian American Pacific Islanders since Trump maliciously misnamed the coronavirus the “Chinese virus.” Since then, incidents against AAPIs have been documented from the Bay Area to NYC, causing the FBI to warn that there could be a surge in anti-Asian crimes. Despite the stabbings, spitting, and other vicious acts, the government has been slow to react, let alone protect or defend AAPIs in a meaningful way. Once again, it’s on us to protect ourselves, our neighbors and our community. Read our article to learn how to stand up to bigotry, report incidents, and help us fight the virus, not the people.
