On this episode Allison talks to Nicole McCormick, a teacher, President of the Mercer County Education Association, union member and mother to four children.  

Nicole talks about her experiences being a union member, a little history about unions in West Virginia and why unions are important. She also talks about her experience being a part of the 2018 West Virginia teacher’s strike.  

The Who’s that Lady (from History)? is Velma Hopkins, an organizer for the Civil Rights and Labor movements.
