On this episode Allison chats with Kristina Smith-Newton, founder and CEO of the nonprofit Hope for Youth, Inc. We talk about her non-profit and women in the STEM field. Plus she talks about her experiences working in spaces where no one else looked like her and why that – among other things – inspired her to create Get HYPE.  We also talk about why sometimes making what seems like an irresponsible decision may in the long run be the best decision.

The episode’s Who’s that Lady (from History)? is Marie Van Brittan Brown, an inventor.

Emails and too much of the same questions are in the Things that Pissed Us Off section.
