On Feb. 6, 2020, major networks in the Northeast Florida area interrupted regular programming for Donald Trump to ramble and rant for over an hour, attacking political opponents, lavishing praise on loyalists (thus free campaign time) and lying constantly to the American public. We were held hostage to a demagogue for over an hour with content that was in no way in the public interest. Further, these networks gave Donald Trump unearned campaign time.

This is not an autocracy. The airwaves belong to the American people. Networks operate under licenses. Dictators take over airwaves for these purposes. I ask our networks to please explain to me what is left of the Fairness Doctrine and how they will rectify this issue.

I request this be investigated and explained to the public. I demand this never happen again.
