The 37 year old Jared Golden is a US Marine, a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, and one of the freshman Congresspeople in swing districts that gave us a majority in the US House of Representatives. In Maine’s 2nd congressional district, Jared is a progressive congressman ready to fight for the people of Maine and against the corrupt, establishment oligarchy class.
Jared was inspired to run for congress when he left the Marine Corps, he was used to being surrounded by people putting it all on the line for their country, people who always had your back, and he realized that these same qualities were not reflected in the people who represented him in Washington, so he set out to change it.
