Dennis Oglesby, of Warrenton, is announcing his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Congress in the 3rd Congressional District of Missouri. Oglesby and his volunteers have formed a committee and filed Wednesday with the FEC. Individuals and several organizations have responded with support.
With over 16 years of business experience and advanced degrees, Dennis Oglesby seeks to represent the common worker. He believes in our public school systems and that quality and affordable healthcare is a right for all.
Oglesby sees the need for choices and representation of the middle class as motivations to run for office.
According to Oglesby, “The working class people in District 3 are my top priority.” He adds, “It is time for government to be returned to the everyday citizen. I am running because I am just that and look to help those around me in similar situations.”
Oglesby has also spoken out on reckless government spending and civil rights issues.
