I’m back home in Ohio after the Democratic National Convention… and wow. The energy and hope in Chicago were unmatched.
Look – there we are on the big screen, casting our 142 delegates’ votes for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz!
Our delegates heard from Senator Cory Booker, DNC Chair Jamie Harrison, Governor JB Pritzker, Congresswoman Shontel Brown, Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval, and more. And Ohio’s very own Congresswoman Joyce Beatty took the stage at the convention – reminding us that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will deliver for Ohio, while Donald Trump and J.D. Vance will only talk about us.
Speaking of talking about us… the Trump War Room saw some of our delegates dancing and called them “cringe.” Sorry, Republicans, but Democrats just have more fun.
If there’s one thing I took away from the convention last week, it’s that Ohio Democrats – and Democrats across the nation – are fired up and ready to elect Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz in November. We’re ready to elect Ohio Democrats up and down the ballot so we can keep the Senate blue and flip the House. We’re ready to protect abortion once and for all. To uplift Ohio families. To strengthen our economy. To protect our democracy.
