How we can end gerrymandering in Ohio

1 min read

We know how important of a role Ohio plays in this year’s elections. With our state being one that could decide control of Congress, it’s crucial that we get strong Democratic voters out to the polls so we can hold on to our Senate majority and flip the House.

The thing is, our Republican-controlled Supreme Court is doing everything they can to stop us: Ahead of this critical election, the Republican Supreme Court majority dismissed lawsuits challenging the state’s legislative maps, leaving heavily gerrymandered districts.

This year’s elections have already been rigged with partisan gerrymandering, so we’re going to have to work overtime to ensure every Ohioan who wants to make their voice heard has the chance.

But if we want to stop Republican gerrymandering once and for all, we need a Court that will serve as our line of defense. And that means re-electing Justice Michael Donnelly and Justice Melody Stewart and electing Judge Lisa Forbes

We’re the only state in the country that can flip its Supreme Court. Let’s get it done.
