Dear Friends,
Happy Spring! Happy Aries Season! Happy Together!
On this significant weekend of my birthday, Monday, there are a number of excellent activities which I hope you can attend. Tomorrow’s Friday Power Lunch, which will focus on the barriers, challenges, and opportunities women experience in the workplace, especially in the political world, Saturday’s Swing Blue Alliance March Frontline Update (30 minutes), and Sunday’s Del Ray event with Elizabeth Guzman and Luis Gutierrez.
This year, EMILY’s List nominated seven women, including our very own Senator Lashrecse Aird for their annual Gabrielle Giffords Rising Star Award. All of the nominees are pro-choice champions, igniting change at the state and local levels. The winner will be announced in April, and voting is open now! Check it out and vote!
Look forward to seeing you this weekend, and check out some good opportunities to worry less and do more, it’s up to us!

PS: Katherine, if you want to do Chay lunch at Barcroft Plaza (12:30-2pm) and/or 6:30-8pm at Audacious Brewery in Falls Church on Monday, please let me know.
