Millionheirs and Baby Strollers
On Monday, Bernie Moreno, Frank LaRose and Matt Dolan met for a second time.
The clown debate touched on all of the hot topics, abortion access, minimum wage, and Bernie Moreno shredding documents he was ordered to keep to get out of paying his employees overtime wages.
All three candidates doubled down on their support of overruling Ohioans by passing a national abortion ban, which would overrule Ohioans who voted overwhelmingly to protect abortion rights in Ohio
Bernie Moreno even argued that women don’t need access to abortion as long as they have help lifting their heavy baby strollers.

Of course, it was the strollers! How did we not think of that? It would have been a lot easier to ask people to help lift strollers than to run a well oiled statewide organizing effort to enshrine abortion rights in the Ohio constitution. Too bad we already got that done.

The entire field also stated that there shouldn’t be an increase in the minimum wage. Millionaires Matt and Moreno said that the minimum wage is not intended to be a liveable wage, and Millionaire Matt even went so far as to tell people that want to earn a higher wage to “work harder.” I guess this millionheir has an opinion about the minimum wage.
Moreno, Dolan and LaRose all have the audacity to say that Sherrod Brown is out of touch with everyday Ohioans while they go around saying they will implement laws directly against what the people want. Millionaires and losers have no place in the Senate.

Until Next Time
2023 was a monumental and hopeful chapter of Ohio’s story that deserves much celebration. But it’s time to turn our focus to 2024. Redistricting and wage are on the line. Control of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House will undoubtedly run through Ohio in 2024. Ohio will also be the only state in the nation with an opportunity to gain control of the state Supreme Court. With two statewide wins under our belt, Ohio Dems are ready to win – again. Consider chipping in to help us win in 2024 and beyond!
