Building the Next Generation of Leadership
Granite Staters are in crisis.
- Gerrymandered maps and anti-voter legislation are stifling NH’s democracy.
- Public education is under attack and losing funding.
- Funding for women’s reproductive health care has been cut.
- Young families can’t find affordable housing.
- Fundamental human rights are threatened.
But 603 Forward is fighting back!
In a state where the average age of legislators is 66 years old, 603 Forward has helped elect more than 200 young people at all levels of government. They have mounted actions to stop gerrymandered maps, sent thousands of messages to voters, and called out activists to support voting rights, education, pro-choice, and LGBTQ+ policies.
Recruiting young progressive candidates for down-ballot races will facilitate the kind of direct voter contact that is impossible for statewide candidates, as well as push back against the extremists who are trying to take over school boards and local offices.
In addition to being a presidential battleground state in 2024, New Hampshire also has an open governor’s race, competitive congressional seats, and a fierce fight to flip the legislature.
