Weekend of Action
Ohio Democrats and our volunteers across the state have been working hard to get the word out about voting YES on Issue 1 by November 7.
There are 4 days left to register to vote, 5 days until Ohioans start early voting, and 32 days until Election Day. That’s why Ohio Democrats are hosting a Weekend of Action THIS WEEKEND.

We hope you can join us for a shift to get out the word about the upcoming election and make sure everyone has a plan to vote YES on Issue 1 by November 7th.
You can sign up for a canvassing shift using our canvass calendar below.

Finally, if you can’t join us on the doors or the phones, consider chipping in what you can in our effort to show out-of-touch republicans – WE WON’T GO BACK.

Bombshell Report
A Columbus Dispatch article this week shone a light on high turnover and low morale quaking the Ohio Secretary of State’s office. Former employees say that the source of these problems is management that is laser-focused on electing LaRose as Ohio’s next U.S. Senator rather than doing the job of the Secretary of State’s office.
Several long-term election employees left under the reign of Frank LaRose and were not replaced, leaving more responsibilities for newer employees who lack the institutional knowledge needed for this work.
Ohioans have already seen the effects of a Secretary of State’s office’s mismanagement when, . ahead of the August 8th primary, LaRose sent out outdated vote-by-mail applications to Ohioans and sent the wrong ballot language to county boards of election.
The news comes after the announcement that LaRose is moving the Secretary of State’s office into the same building as his U.S. Senate campaign, blurring ethical lines and costing Ohioans over $600,000 in taxpayer dollars.
Did you never hear the phrase “don’t mix work and pleasure,” Frank?
You can read the full article here. We recommend sitting down.
Speaker Jordan???
I’m sorry, I don’t think I read that right. Speaker Jordan? As in speaker of the House Jim Jordan?

After McCarthy was ousted as Speaker, Jim Jordan threw his hat in the ring for a shot at the role. And shortly after Jordan launched his bid, President Trump endorsed him.
Jordan represents the worst of Ohio Republicans. He’s an election-denier, avid anti-abortion activist, and he’s spending his time in Congress leading an impeachment inquiry into President Biden instead of advocating for Ohioans. Jordan might be the worst thing to come out of Ohio since the gerrymandered, duck shaped district he represents.
One thing is certain, we cannot allow Jordan to have more power than he already does. Control of the U.S. House will run through Ohio, and we have to protect our frontline Democrats and flip control of the House.
Consider a donation to take down Jim Jordan.
