As you might have heard – there have been 3 packages of bills introduced in the Michigan Senate on Gun reform:

1. Safe storage

2. Universal Background Checks

3. Extreme Protection Orders (aka Red Flag laws)

NOW is the time to ACT.  Anything you do will help.

Here is what you can do NOW:

– If you lead an organization – sign the letter showing support of these bills preferably by noon tomorrow or if you are an elected official: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeU4MaQ-oFvrHTdfzV2PPSYAYRZv7c-vSXLEX4lEetrNMjGiA/viewform

*Please only sign on if you are authorized to sign on behalf of your organization or you are an elected official. We need all kinds of organizations– houses of worship, trade unions, block clubs, professional associations, businesses, community groups, ethnic associations, youth groups, political organizations, volunteer and civic associations, and more. Please sign on behalf of your organization or if you are an elected official. This list will be circulated to lawmakers to demonstrate support for these common sense reforms. We will attempt to highlight it at committee hearings as well. Share this message with your supporting network.

In order to have immediate effect – we need Republicans to join in (for the Senate – 6 of them)
