So Many Trump Scandals, So Little Time – New Yorker

With so many lawsuits against Trump underway, it’s hard to keep track of them all. Use this map to trace them all the way from Panama, Mar-a-Lago, and Washington DC to Scotland. The cases cover everything violent insurrections, tax evasion, missing national security documents, rape accusations, mob-like activity to denying a niece her inheritance. Use this map to get started.

Mar-A-Lago

The Justice Department is seeking to overturn a federal judge’s ruling that blocked investigators from reviewing a range of highly-sensitive documents seized from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Prosecutors said in a new court filing that U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon’s decision to temporarily halt the FBI’s ability to probe the ex-president’s handling and storage of classified materials would cause “irreparable harm” to efforts by the intelligence community to protect national security interests. – Politico

Election interference

A federal judge has for the second time rejected Sen. Lindsey Graham’s effort to block a grand jury subpoena issued by the Atlanta-area district attorney investigating former President Donald Trump and his allies’ effort to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia. In a 23-page order, U.S. District Court Judge Leigh Martin May ruled that the South Carolina Republican’s claim to be immune from such questioning — thanks to the protections of the so-called speech or debate clause of the Constitution — is not as sweeping as Graham claimed it to be. – Politico

TakeAway: Elections matter. Vote Democrat to unrig the justice system by which the privileged few evade justice.
