After Democrat Melissa Cerrato called out State Rep. Todd Stephens (R-Montco) for his anti-choice votes, Stephens threatened to sue in a cease-and-desist letter.
Pathetic.
PA Republicans hold the majority in the PA House thanks to suburban Republicans like Stephens that pretend to be moderate as they cling to power in Biden 2020 districts. If we can get Democrats to vote blue all the way down the ballot, we can send them packing.
Today, we’re highlighting pro-choice champions running to flip PA House seats that should be ours. Joe Biden carried all of their districts.
Melissa Cerrato (PA-HD151 Montco) is a former district director for Rep. Liz Hanbidge, Melissa has the training and experience to serve the new HD 151.
Lisa Borowski (PA-HD168 Delco) is a ward commissioner member running against State Rep. Chris Quinn, a Republican with a 0% rating from Planned Parenthood.
Cathy Spahr (PA-HD160 Chester/Delco) is a fierce advocate of women’s rights. She’s a mom of twins, transportation planner and environmental advocate running to flip a district that has trended in favor of Democrats.
Brian Munroe (PA-HD144 Bucks) is a Navy veteran, former firefighter/EMT, and a former police officer. He was elected as a Warminster Township supervisor for four years until elected to the Clerk of Courts in a county-wide election.
Paul Friel (PA-HD26 Chester) is a School Board member back for a rematch against a Trump-loving incumbent in a new district that voted for Joe Biden by double digits.
We’re not afraid!
