Join Us for Wisconsin Wednesdays – and More!

We’re almost halfway through 2022 — you still have time to help fight back the MAGA Republicans and elect leaders who stand for voting rights, gun violence prevention, reproductive rights, health care for all, and more.

Use Your Phone to Protect Our Democracy

The future of American democracy may hinge on what happens in contests like the gubernatorial race in Wisconsin, a critical battleground state,” writes Sam Levine in the Guardian, showing why we must ensure that Gov. Tony Evers is re-elected in our northerly neighbor state.

Picture yourself making a difference in Wisconsin – by phoning Democratic voters there this critical election year. IC-South Side Co-Leader Sarah Lincolnis one of the regular phonebank hosts for Indivisible Chicago’s “Wisconsin Wednesdays” phonebanks. (Find Sarah & another familiar face above.)

Each 2-hour phonebank starts with a friendly Zoom session that orients you to the purpose of the phonebank, the script, and the phoning platform. At any time during the phonebank, you can check back in to ask questions, and then everyone joins together for a fun debrief at the end. If you’ve got a laptop and phone, you are all set!

You can join Wisconsin Wednesdays & other phonebanks:

  • Mondays (3 pm): Recruit past volunteers to canvass and phonebank in 2022 with Indivisible Chicago
  • Tuesdays (6 pm): Call voters in the the 3rd and 7th districts in support of Delia Ramirez and Kina Collins running for Congress.
  • Wednesdays (3 pm or 6 pm/alternating weeks): Wisconsin Wednesdays!
  • Thursdays (10 am): Recruit past volunteers to canvass and phonebank in 2022 with Indivisible Chicago

With the power of a movement comes the responsibility to use it. It’s time to rise up once more and take to the streets. Now is the moment we march again, and we’re counting on you to show up on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 in Chicago and cities across the country. Save the date and watch the Facebook Event for the meeting point.
