- Made it easier to buy weapons of war and armor piercing bullets as used in Buffalo, Sandy Hook, Parkland and Las Vegas mass shootings
- Cut background checks and training requirements before using guns
- Made it easier for the mentally disturbed and children to get guns
- Block measures to hold gun manufacturers responsible for the harm their products cause
- Propose that guns can be carried without permits

Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act
“The House just passed the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act. 203 Republicans voted against it, all Democrats voted in favor. The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act would set up offices specifically focused on domestic terrorism at the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the FBI. The offices would track and analyze domestic terrorist activity with the goal of better preparing the federal government to identify risks in order to take preventative action. The bill creates a requirement for biannual reporting on domestic terrorism threats. It also calls for assessments of the threat posed specifically by White supremacists and neo-Nazis.” – CNN

“Currently, there are around 400 million guns in the United States, according to a 2018 survey conducted by the nonpartisan Small Arms Survey, which monitors gun ownership. The Brady gun safety group released an examination of Pennsylvania firearms tracing data revealing that six small retailers in south and northeast Philadelphia sold more than 11,000 weapons that were later recovered in criminal investigations or confiscated from owners who had obtained them illegally from 2014 to 2020.” – NY Times
