Remember these days, when we got together in person — shared a meal, raised a glass, and did the work needed to save our country? Well, we’ll have those days again, but until then remember that virtual is virtuous and the work needs to get done!

North Carolina

Learn more about what’s at stake in North Carolina by reviewing Lean Left’s North Carolina Briefing Sheet, and keep an eye on the website for upcoming actions including postcards and texting.

Pennsylvania

On Tuesday, Feb 22nd, join a special Lean Left event to talk about the political landscape—challenges and opportunities—in WI and PA.  No doubt about it, from flipping Senate seats, retaining governorships, making progress in state legislatures and other races—these are key states in 2022.

  • We will talk about both states but the emphasis will be on PA with two special guests: Andrea Koplove of Turn PA Blue and Anne Marie Mitchell(tentative), Democratic candidate for PA State Senate in Bucks County (north of Philly)  Sign up

New Hampshire

The GOP right-wing are claiming voting machines are rigged. State audits have found no evidence of fraud or political bias. Voting machines have proven to be accurate, shorten lines at the polls, and provide results faster.

  • Make calls to get out the vote in 11 NH towns that have ballot measures to remove voting machines. Sign up here.

Wisconsin

Wisconsin has four elections in 2022!  There is a great need for voter protection volunteers, particularly to recruit poll observers to make sure that voting is fair.

  • Recruit Poll Observers: There is a lot of need for poll observers to make sure that voting is fair.  Help recruit! Every Tues and Thursday at 6:00

Upcoming Special Events

Meet North Carolina’s Cheri Beasley, candidate for the U.S. Senate Wednesday, Feb 23, 7-8 pm. One of our best opportunities to expand the Democratic majority in the Senate runs through North Carolina. And you can meet the woman who has taken on the challenge: former NC State Supreme Court Chief Justice Cheri Beasley. Register & Donate here!

Winning Against the Radical Right in New Hampshire Libertarians and ultra-right-wing groups infiltrated every crevice of New Hampshire’s state and local government — from school boards to the Executive Council to legislature. Learn more about these groups, but more importantly, learn how we can help push back and have a chance to reinstate fairness and justice in New Hampshire. Co-sponsored by Lean Left Vermont and the New Hampshire Local Leadership Network. Sign up here.

Help Turn PA Blue

In 2020, Pennsylvania turned blue at the Presidential level! In 2022, there is much at stake from a flippable Senate seat, retaining the Governorship and the first real shot in 10 years, thanks to fairly drawn maps, at retaking the state legislature!

The key grassroots organization to make this happen, from the bottom of the ballot up, is Turn PA Blue.
Check out the Pennsylvania
Briefing Sheet for more information about this battleground state.
