Send a Message to Build Back Better
Last week, Indivisible Chicago-South Side joined Indivisible Chicago to deliver this message: Every Democrat in Congress must stand firm against lobbyists and Republicans to make sure Build Back Better is passed ALONG WITH the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

Wendy + Sarah delivered letters to offices of Reps Bobby Rush, Robin Kelly, Marie Newman
IC-SS co-leader Sarah Lincoln joined IC-SS co-founder Wendy Posner in organizing the effort to draft the letter and deliver it to six of our US reps in Chicago. Wendy and Sarah personally visited the offices of South Side members of Congress: Rep Bobby Rush (IL-01), Robin Kelly (IL-02), and Marie Newman (IL-03). Thank you, Sarah and Wendy!

Contact Bobby Rush, Robin Kelly, Marie Newman, or whoever reps you in Congress!

INFO: Build Back Better + Bipartisan Infrastructure

The Build Back Better Act will invest in climate action, lower drug prices, broaden Medicare, create a pathway to citizenship for millions, expand childcare, and more. It is different from the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

Graphic: MoveOn
With a new deadline of October 31st, negotiations are underway to secure the final votes needed to pass Build Back Better and end the obstruction of a few conservative Democrats (and ALL Republicans). We call on our Democratic representatives to unify their votes on the bipartisan infrastructure bill and Build Back Better – pass both together!

We have looked at our assets and opportunities, vision, and will be talking through barriers, strategies, and actual actions to take next.
