Op-ed Writing Workshop

Making sure you saw this!

If you read a national story about a mom running for office, chances are that we had something to do with it. We like to make sure that our candidates get into the spotlight.

We received great media attention for our candidates in 2020 and our work has been featured in major publications such as Refinery 29TeenVogue , NBC NewsSuperMajority and TYT.

Moms in Office is excited to host our second FREE community training event this year as part of our Moms Guide to Run series!

If you are a candidate running for office, thinking about running, or not a candidate but interested in learning more about writing an Op-ed, join us to learn more about getting in the spotlight! During this workshop, you will receive training and toolkits on Op-ed writing and we will help you with communicating your message through various media channels during your campaign.

Hosted by Moms in Office Executive Director Simona Grace with special guest Asha Dahya, author, TEDx speaker, creator, mom, and Editor in Chief of GirlTalk HQ.

Date: October, 21, Thursday

Time: 6PM PST

Location: Virtual, RSVP to receive invite link

We are happy to offer a free training series to anyone interested in running for office this year. If you can’t attend but would like to support our work, please help us offer more resources to women in politics by chipping in what you can today.
