Don’t Let PA Be the Next TX

State Rep. Liz Hanbidge writes, “Pennsylvania is more like Texas than you think.”

Don’t let Pennsylvania be the next Texas. Tomorrow, Saturday 2 October, hundreds of Women’s Marches will be happening around the country — find one near you and march to defend our reproductive rights!

Then, help write postcards to get out the vote in Pennsylvania in November’s critical election!

She continues:

Texas has become a harbinger for women in this country, forcing us to confront the imminent risk to our reproductive rights.

In Pennsylvania, everyone who can or will be able to give birth is at significant risk because such attacks are already happening in our state.

…while the proposed laws [in Pennsylvania] aren’t exactly the same, without Gov. Wolf’s vetoes, the women of our commonwealth would be in a similar situation as the women of Texas.

At Turn PA Blue, we’re fighting on the ground to ensure that Pennsylvania does not become the next Texas by boosting voter turnout now to help us flip the General Assembly next year.

Don’t let Pennsylvania be the next Texas. The Women’s March is mobilizing to defend our reproductive rights. March with women everywhere this Saturday 2 October — find a march near you now!

Then, get out the vote in Pennsylvania by writing postcards to voters now!

Thanks for stepping up.
