Fox News Should Not Be Spreading Disinformation on Military Bases – Get Fox News Turned OFF

/
3 mins read

Got 2 postcards and 2 stamps?

How about if you use them to ask General Mark Milley and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to REMOVE FOX NEWS from public TVs on military bases?

Fox “News” continues to be aired on military bases even as it degenerates into little more than a source of extremist propaganda about stolen elections, harm from Covid vaccinations and the “culture war” issue of the day. It spreads hate and sows division.  Is it any wonder that so many of the Jan. 6 insurrectionists were ex-military?

If it seems crazy to you to have the U.S. military pay for disinformation that undermines troop cohesion and morale and thereby jeopardizes our democracy, make your voice heard by mailing two postcards on Monday, July 26.

Sample language:

Dear General Milley/Secretary Austin,

For years, the military has been paying for Fox “News” on its bases.  Watching Fox News disinformation undermines the resolve of enlisted personnel to defend our democracy and Constitution.  Please stop airing Fox News on military bases.
