Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem
the soul of American.
Congressman John Lewis on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in
Selma, Alabama, March 1, 2020
We’ve set out a strategy for doing more work in 2021 to prepare the way to hold our gains and make more progress. The way this work will get done is through you! You are the heart and soul of Lean Left Vermont.
If you attended our Resistance Cafes during the 2020 election, you know how energizing it is to be with other like-minded people working together on a common goal that will strengthen our democracy. Last year at the Cafes, we connected with voters, signed up poll watchers, staffed voter hotlines, and provided vital voter information. With the cafe idea in mind, we are creating another meeting place – virtually for now, but hopefully in-person in the months to come.
To learn more, join us for the launch of
The Good Trouble Cafes on
Wednesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 6:30.
If you can’t make it on Wednesday, check out our website for more information and let us know if you’re interested. We’ll be back in touch.
