Did you know that WA insurance companies currently use credit scores as a way to determine how much they charge for your coverage?

Senator Mona Das (LD 47), WA State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler, and Governor Inslee’s Senior Policy Adviser RaShelle Davis join us to discuss the fight to save a bill that would prevent insurance companies from using people’s credit scores to determine rates, a practice that disproportionately impact low-income and BIPOC communities.
