What happened this week? House Democrats passed the For the People Act to ensure fairness in voting and the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act to prevent law enforcement officers from killing Black and Brown people. California created a new plan to distribute vaccines based on helping those residents who have been hit the hardest by COVID. The Senate passed the COVID relief bill, which will bring $1.9 trillion (about the size of the Republican tax cut) to the aid of Americans in need. So yeah, a good week on our part.
