This afternoon, Joe Biden will be inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States, and Kamala Harris will be inaugurated as the 49th Vice President and the first woman to hold the office. This has been a difficult four years for many Americans, and we look forward to this incoming administration. To that point, CCDP will be holding a virtual inauguration watch party, starting at 11:30 AM. You can RSVP via the button below or through the link in the Upcoming Events section.

CCDP will have our monthly meeting on Thursday at 6:30 PM via Zoom. We will be discussing the upcoming leadership elections for the county party, as well as announcing the nominating committee. The leadership positions that will be discussed are Chair, 1st Vice Chair (must be a different gender from the Chair), 2nd Vice Chair (must be a different race/ethnicity from Chair), and 3rd Vice Chair (must be 35 or younger). Additionally, we will have updates regarding what 2021 in CCDP will look like. Please join us virtually tomorrow at 6:30! You can RSVP via the button below or through the link in the Upcoming Events section.

OFFICE VANDALISM UPDATEAs many of you have likely heard, the CCDP Office was vandalized at the end of last week. We thank everyone for their support and resilience in the face of this horrific act. We are working with the police department to find the suspect who is believed to have appeared in security footage, and they have asked for public assistance to locate him.

Here is the description: The suspect was wearing a dark-colored baseball hat with lettering, a light-colored face mask, a dark blue jacket and pants, and light-colored Adidas sneakers. The individual had on a tan or camouflage backpack.

If you have any information, please call 843-743-7200 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
