What a January it’s been. We hope you’re all healthy and safe.
With the House moving forward on Trump’s 2nd impeachment, and with countless GOP member of Congress who objected to the Electoral Vote Count, we have a lot of messaging to do.
Here are two toolkits to help:
1. Impeachment Toolkit (Multiple Platforms): Share custom messages supporting the impeachment & removal of Donald Trump.
2. Accountability Toolkit (Twitter only): We’ve pre-fashioned tweets calling for Reps and Senators who backed Trump’s sedition to resign immediately, organized by state. It’s super easy! And cathartic.
It’s critical to stay on message in the social media sphere this week. Things are going to happen fast, and we need to be in lock step, which is often hard for the left.
Some of our partners are testing messaging. What terms work best at swaying the public? What sways people to our cause, and what sways them away?
Here are a couple of slides with the kind of language that tests well and can help move public opinion. We will continue to share these and expand our social media toolkits throughout the week.
