Eviction Ban Extension

New York is primed to pass the strongest eviction moratorium in the nation. The State Senate is holding a special session today (Monday, December 28th) to pass the COVID-19 Emergency Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention Act to ensure that tenants, homeowners and small landlords will not be evicted or foreclosed if they have lost income or have increased expenses due to the pandemic. If passed, this will remain in place until May 1, 2021. Please call your state legislator in support of this measure.
