DONATION DRIVE-THRU AT CCDP OFFICE

As we have been featuring in the Give Back section the last few weeks, CCDP is now focusing our efforts on supporting the community. In addition to the Blessing Box we have at the office, this season we are collecting donations for a number of other organizations and initiatives around Charleston County!

CCDP is co-hosting a Donation Drive-thru with Voices United this Saturday (December 5th) from 12pm to 4pm at the CCDP Office (1379 Ashley River Rd). We will be collecting for all three donation drives we have been working on for the last few weeks.

CCDP is proud to be a collection site for Toys for Tots through December 11th. We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 12. We’re also serving as a Project Stay Warm CHS collection until December 6th. We’re collecting winter gloves, sweater hoodies, and plush blankets for elderly seniors. Finally, we are collecting menstrual products for the Homeless Period Project which will go to local shelters and schools.

If you cannot come during the Drive-thru, come visit us during our open hours this week (Tuesday & Thursday 10a-7pm or Saturday 10a-4pm) to drop off anything you wish to donate. Can’t make it during our office hours? Email wecare@chsdems.com to arrange a drop off time!

HOW TO HELP IN GEORGIA

Flipping the Georgia Senate seats are absolutely CRUCIAL to getting any of president-elect Joe Biden’s agenda done when he’s in office. Without control of the senate, Mitch McConnell will still be the madman at the wheel and will pull every dirty trick he can to roadblock, obstruct, and derail everything that we worked so hard for. Click below to access a document with some specific ways that you can help.
