Friends,
We want to extend our sincerest thanks to you – our voters, volunteers, supporters, and donors. You put everything you could into this year’s races and mounted a massive challenge to the status quo and incumbent Republicans.
Missouri is a tough state and we are used to painful losses, close calls, and dirty tricks here. But the truth is that in every election, win or lose, you’re building the local infrastructure that moves us closer to victory and builds on our progress the next time around.
We are so grateful for everything you have done.
You made hundreds of thousands of phone calls – including over 220,000 just on Election Day alone, sent hundreds of thousands of text messages, and safely hit doors multiple times through dozens of targeted districts.
We mailed thousands of pieces of persuasive lit, ran digital ad campaigns to reach voters online, and held voter registration drives to cultivate hundreds and hundreds of new voters.
We’ve got to wait a little bit longer for the results of the presidential election, but it’s looking more and more like we’ll put a Democrat back in the White House during the one of the most critical times our country has ever seen.
I know we’re going to be glued to the TV until the race is called, but please try to take some time to rest and relax this week.
The hard work of democracy never ceases and we need you here for it.
Sincerely,
The Staff of the Missouri Democratic Party
