In the chaos of the news since Trump’s COVID diagnosis, we’re still crystal clear on one thing: it’s more important now than ever to do the work. Here are our actions this week:

Get out the vote
It’s less than a month until voting ends and it’s time to pull out all the stops. That means upping our volunteer hours for the next few weeks. Sign up to phone bank on your own schedule here: https://www.mobilize.us/indivisibleyolo/event/322664/. You can call for any campaign you have been trained on and if you have any additional questions or want camaraderie during your calls, come to one of our five weekly phone bank trainings that can be found on our calendar.

Defend the Supreme Court
Senators Feinstein and Harris are on the Judiciary committee that must vote on Judge Barrett’s nomination. We are calling them to ask them to lead their Democratic colleagues to deny a quorum in committee and use all other  procedural tactics to delay and oppose this rushed nomination.
Scroll down for the call script and phone numbers.

Protect the Results
If we want to avoid helping Trump suppress the vote and demobilize his detractors, we have to be clear when we talk about this: Trump has not succeeded in rigging the election, and he hasn’t stolen it. No, what he’s is up to is he is trying to cheat. He’s doing this from a place of weakness, not strength. And he won’t get away with it. Why? If he tries any weak justifications of his claim that the election is a fraud, we take to the streets in a mass peaceful demonstration. Stay up to date
Come hear the latest on the work we have been doing with Sister District CA-3 at their monthly meeting this Wednesday. There will be updates on the races we have been working on. The meeting will feature special guests Andrew Kim from Flip the West, a campaign representative from the AZ LD20 races, and Jasmine Clark, Georgia State Senator from GA SD-108. Take care, and take action!

Voter turnout in 2016: Pie chart showing more eligible voters didn't vote than voted for either Trump or Clinton. Of the 108.8 million who didn't vote: More than 55% of these voters were Democrats or Democrat-leaning. That's 60 million potential Biden-Harris voters. Let's increase turnout this year! Hi, my name is [YOUR NAME] and I am a constituent from [CITY/ZIP CODE]. I ask the Senator to please block Trump’s appointment of a new nominee to the Supreme Court.
