Breonna Taylor case outcome suggests officers are above the law, says legal expert
”What the Kentucky prosecutor said today is that, when three police officers barge into your house in the middle of the night, and shoot you six times, that’s not a crime. I think that that’s a legal, prosecutorial way of saying that Black lives don’t matter…It’s against the law to do what they did, in my opinion. And yet these officers are now above the law.” – Professor Paul Butler of Georgetown Law School.

‘You are not listening,’ Fauci tells Sen. Rand Paul during a Senate hearing on the coronavirus
Dr. Fauci challenged Sen. Paul during a Senate hearing: “You are not listening to what the director of the CDC said, that — in New York — it’s about 22 percent. If you believe 22 percent is herd immunity, I believe you’re alone in that.”
THURSDAY
National Women for Biden Training with Hillary Rodham Clinton 7:00 p.m. EST
Thu 9/24 – Thu 10/8
On Thursday, September 24, Women for Biden will host a national training on resiliency in the face of multiple national crises and the recent loss of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with Hillary Rodham Clinton and Alexis McGill Johnson.
Women across the country are currently bearing the brunt of the COVID-19 crisis, filling essential roles in the economy and balancing work and families responsibilities. Americans have long been inspired by Justice Ginsburg and her work advancing equality and opportunity, and her passing has left many feeling a great sense of loss. The future of the Supreme Court has also made the stakes in this election blatantly clear.
This training will feature Hillary Rodham Clinton and Planned Parenthood Action Fund President Alexis McGill Johnson, who will discuss what’s at stake for women and how we energize and mobilize in the final weeks of the campaign. This event is part of an ongoing series of national Women for Biden events to engage women supporters to help get out the vote.
