The #SayHerName: Protect Black Women Event

This Saturday, June 27, the Washington State Poor People’s Campaign, MAPS-AMEN, and the Seattle Womxn’s March, are sponsoring a rally and march that centers the voices and lives of Black Women and Black Trans Women. It is called #SayHerName: Protect Black Women, and we’re joined by two of its organizers, Rev. Bianca Davis-Lovelace, who is tri-chair of the Washington State Poor People’s Campaign, and Sabreen Tuku, who is a community organizer and student going into her senior year.
