Only 35 days until the primary election! In this issue you’ll find all the information you will need to vote in the August 4 primary. The Clean Elections Voter Education Guide will arrive in your mailbox this week.

Early mail-in ballots will begin to arrive in our mailboxes on July 8.  Early voting begins July 8, and you can vote in-person at these locations:

You may mail your early ballot or drop it in any official Ballot Drop Box at these locations. The drop-box deadline is 7pm on election day

  • Prescott: County Admin Building – 1015 Fair St
  • Prescott Valley: Town Hall – 7501 E. Civic Circle
  • Camp Verde: Town Hall – 473 S. Main St.
  • Camp Verde: Yavapai-Apache Nation – 3462 Smith Ave.
  • Clarkdale: Town Hall – 38 N. 9th St.
  • Cottonwood: County Admin Bldg – 10 S. 6th St.
  • Dewey-Humbolt: Town Hall – 2735 S. Hwy 69
  • Jerome: Town Hall – 600 Clark St.
  • Paulden: Public Library – 16 Big Chino Rd
  • Sedona: City Hall -102 Roadrunner Dr.
  • Skull Valley: US Post Office – 3085 S. Iron Springs Rd.
  • Spring Valley: Public Library – 17320 E. Mule Deer Rd.

New update from the Yavapai Elections Board shows over 80.3% of voters in the county are registered for PEVL!

We can’t emphasize enough the importance of requesting a ballot-by-mail by registering for the Permanent Early Voter List (PEVL).

OPTION 1: SIGN UP FOR THE PEVL ONLINE

OPTION 2:
 SUBMIT A WRITTEN PEVL REQUEST FORM

There is no deadline to join the PEVL.

However, to get a ballot-by-mail for an upcoming election, you must sign up at least 11 days before Election Day.

You must sign up by:

  • 5pm July 24 to get a ballot-by-mail for the August 4 primary election

It is your constitutional right to vote and you should expect to be able to do it without risking your life or anyone else’s.  

Here are the safety protocols that will be in place at every voting station in Yavapai County.

Guest speakers: Felicia French and Dr. Tom Rusing

We are honored to host guest speakers Retired Army Colonel and LD6 State Senate candidate Felicia French, who just returned from a month volunteering at Tuba City Regional Health Care Center, where she helped to stem the pandemic working as a nurse, and Dr. Tom Rusing, who was doing Covid-related emergency work in Gallup, New Mexico. They will discuss their experiences providing support on the frontlines of the pandemic in the Southwest.  

The Ferris Wheel Project will partner with Mission for Arizona
Phone Bank Event

The Ferris Wheel Project is a rotating, weekly phone-banking event sponsored by YavDems that connects our volunteers with guest campaigns. Each guest campaign will provide the training, lists, and calling script. YavDems organize and provide the volunteers.
