About 350 activists braved the freezing rain to attend the Impeachment Rally at the Concord Center and First Parish to support the historic impeachment vote. We heard a rousing and inspiring speech by our State Representative Tami Gouveia and an entertaining performance by the political comedian Jimmy Tingle. Also enjoyed post rally dinner and drinks at the Colonial Inn. Great job Indivisibles Concord and Acton Area for making this such a memorable event.

Rally Song (“Let It Be” by The Beatles remade for Impeachment Rallies
by Jeff Brooks:
“And when the broken-hateful people living in Fox world agree
There will be conviction, let’s Impeach
For though they may be parted, there is still a chance that they will see
There will be conviction, let’s Impeach
FROM THE BEGINNING:
When I find myself in times of trouble, Speaker Nancy comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let’s Impeach
And in our hour of darkness she is standing right in front of him
Speaking words of wisdom, let’s Impeach
Let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach
Speaking words of wisdom, let’s Impeach
And when the broken-hateful people living in Fox world agree
There will be conviction, let’s Impeach
For though they may be parted, there is still a chance that they will see
There will be conviction, let’s Impeach
Let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach
Yeah, there will be conviction, let’s Impeach,
Let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach
Speaking words of wisdom, let’s Impeach,
Let’s Impeach, let’s Impeach, yeah, let’s Impeach
Speaking words of wisdom, let’s Impeach

We had about 250 people show up in the frigid cold. But our hearts were warm. We had a musical performance of Vladimir Stop (to Jingle Bells Rock), and recitation of Twas the Night Before Impeachment, several speeches, and the singing of the National Anthem. We passed out signs, You’re Fired postcards for people to send to moderate Senators, hand warmers, and whistles to thank the Whistleblower,
