Election Action of the Day:

MAKE PHONE CALLS FOR GOVERNOR JBE. Helping turn out voters is the best way we can help re-elect Governor Edwards. The campaign is currently calling voters who supported him in the primary and to remind them to vote in Early Voting or Election day. 

The calls are very easy and you can call from home! Email lila@lademo.org to get set up to call from home!

Weds, Oct 23, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Daytime Postcard Meetup – Clearview Mall Food court. Write postcards for Nov 16th election! 

Thurs, Oct 24, 6:00 pm- Phone bank for Tammy Savoie – Tubby & Coo’s Mid City Book Shop, 631 N. Carrollton 

Sunday, Oct 27, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm – After Saints Game Postcard Party at Reginelli’s on Clearview. Write postcards for the Nov 16th election!

Weds, Oct 30 – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Daytime Postcard Meetup – Clearview Mall Food court. Still writing postcards for the Nov 16th election! 

Saturday, Nov 2nd – Possible Postcard meet up / phone bank training. Time and Location TBA

Tell Congress You Support Impeachment! 

Script: 

I  support impeachment because elected officials asking foreign governments for investigations of American citizens to help their reelection campaigns (while withholding taxpayer funded aid to that country or while talking about trade) is a gross ABUSE OF POWER and undermines our NATIONAL SECURITY. I also believe subpoenas MUST BE OBEYED and the Trump Administration must obey all subpoenas for information or testimony.
