Top Actions:

We’re really only 3 days into October!? Feels like 3 months since Nancy announced ’tis the season of an impeachment inquiry. But what a 3 days! And we know it’s been the longest 2 years, 256 days of our lives, but IEB doesn’t rest when it comes to pushing our MoCs to do more, faster. We’ll keep up keepin’ up the fight and are so glad you’ll be with us, indivisibly, along the way.

Let’s start right here:

  1. Dis-barr with a side of impeachment
  2. Vote save us all
  3. Please please Ms/Mr/Mx Postal carrier

Action #1: Impeach & Dis-Barr Barr

Deadline: Now & till he’s out – As patriotic whistleblowers and intrepid reporters shine light on the Current (not for long?) Occupant’s abuses of power, also illuminated are his colluding toadies’ high crimes. It’s time to ferret out what AG Bill “Cover Up” Barr has been up to! Mr. Meltdown in Chief has gotten away with obstructing justice and endangering our national security largely due to Barr’s collusion & cover. Tell your Members of Congress to keep speaking out, and to investigate and open an impeachment inquiry into the AG’s dirty dealings. Read our article for more info on what a Barr impeachment inquiry may focus on, and talking points tailored to our MoCs.

Action #2: Registration Nation

Deadline: Right away – Didja miss Nat’l Voter Registration Day (Sept. 24)? No worries – you still have time to register, to CHECK your registration, and to make sure everyone eligible you know is registered to exercise our most valuable duty and right, to vote. Find a treasure trove of info & resources in our article about elections and voting. And pass on this easy to remember link — vote.org – it’ll connect people in any state with the voting info they need!

Action #3: Not 2 late 2 help VA

Deadline: RSVP now for Oct. 7 & 21 – Since June, we’ve been spreading the good word of Reclaim Our Vote, writing to underrepresented voters in Virginia. Come join us in Oakland as we enjoy popcorn, good company, and fun, effective activism! A $5 donation gets you 10 postcards & stamps, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. We’ve already sent more than 850 postcards to VA voters! RSVP to join us on October 7 or October 21 from 6:45-8:45 PM and help us reach 1,000! Location & details sent after you RSVP. Can’t make it, or want more info about Reclaim Our Vote? Email Andrea at andrea@indivisibleeb.org

State and Local News

Now Serving: ImPeach-Mint at AMM We came, we ate, we called! At Sept. 29’s All Members Meeting, we heard about Indivisible National’s plans (hint: it involves 🍑🍑) how we can help count the undercounted in Alameda County, and what’s going on with impeachment. Joke’s on us, last Sunday feels like 5 years ago, given what’s happening this morning, for example. Check out our article for lots more + links to catch up to speed. See you at our Oct. 27 All Members Meeting back at Sports Basement Berkeley! Can’t make the AMM? Join us online where we do much planning and organizing — ask info@indivisibleeb.org for an invite to our Slack group!

We Could Not Make This Up

Buckle up for the latest episode of Upside Down World, starring AG Bill “Grand Collusioner” Barr sneaking down under to Australia to push batshirt crazy conspiracy theories at Fascist in Chief’s behest. Speaking of BS crazy & fascism, investigating Hillary!? One silver lining: Mme Secretary, Hillary “But my emails” Clinton wins Twitter (like she won the popular vote).

Indivisible East Bay is a chapter of the Indivisible movement. We are a grassroots organization focused on stopping the Trump administration’s policies.

We cover the East Bay Area, spanning California’s 11th, 13th, and 15th congressional districts. In addition to IndivisibleEB, there are a number of other Indivisible groups covering specifics cities, countries, and even neighborhood. Whenever possible, we try to work together in order to build a coalition of like-minded activists resisting the Trump agenda.
