Nolan Higdon & Mickey Huff

Dr. Nolan Higdon is an author and lecturer of history and media studies at California State University, East Bay. Higdon sits on the boards of the Action Coalition for Media Education and Northwest Alliance For Alternative Media And Education. His most recent publication is United States of Distraction with Mickey Huff (City Lights Publishers, 2019). He is co-host of the Along the Line podcast, and a longtime contributor to Project Censored’s annual book, Censored. In addition, he has been a guest commentator for The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and numerous television news outlets.
Mickey Huff is director of Project Censored and president of the
Media Freedom Foundation. His latest books are United States of Distraction, co-authored with Nolan Higdon(2019, City Lights Publishers) and Censored 2020: Through the Looking Glass co-edited with Andy Lee Roth (2019, Seven Stories Press). He is professor of social science and history at Diablo Valley College where he co-chairs the history department, a lecturer in communications at California State University, East Bay, and executive producer and host of the weekly syndicated public affairs program The Project Censored Show.
