  • PHONEBANKING BIG SKY COUNTRY
A little more field work can go a long way in a relatively small electorate, so our contributions can go a little further in Montana. Big Sky Victory is holding a virtual phone bank tonight at 7PM ET/5PM MT to turn out voters for Jon Tester’s critical Senate race. Let’s sign up to join tonight and every day until Election Day here.

  • CANVASSING AND CALLING NEW HAMPSHIRE
While Kamala Harris is expected to win New Hampshire, it is still a purple state, and the governor’s race between Democrat Joyce Craig and Republican Kelly Ayotte is much closer. Ayotte now claims she will veto any new restrictions on abortion in the state, but in the past she has been extremely anti-choice and supported a federal abortion ban. New Hampshire Democrats are organizing many phone and in-person canvassing opportunities for the last days. Let’s see what we can do to support both Harris and Craig here.

  • TEXTING OUT THE VOTE IN GEORGIA
The Working Families Party is targeting key districts to turn out our base voters in Georgia, and tonight marks one of their final text banks of the electoral cycle. Let’s sign up to join them at 6:30pm here.

  • MAKE THE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS COUNT IN ALASKA
Up late worrying about the election? Put your anxiety to good use! One of the most competitive House races in the country is Rep. Mary Peltola’s reelection campaign in Alaska, where prime calling hours don’t even start until 9PM on the East Coast! We can sign up to phonebank the Last Frontier here.

  • HELP STAFF LOCAL POLLING PLACES RIGHT HERE AT HOME
Our democracy depends on ordinary people who make sure every election runs smoothly and everyone’s vote is counted — people like us. Power the Polls has all the resources we need to be apply to be poll workers in our community and make sure we have safe, fair, efficient elections. And many of these positions are paid! Let’s learn more about these opportunities and sign up here.

  • STATE-SPECIFIC ACTIONS
    • WA/ALL – DON’T LET THEM TURN YOUR VOTE TO ASH
Earlier this week, ballot dropboxes in Washington State and Oregon were set on fire. In Oregon, three ballots were damaged but election officials have enough information to contact those voters – Oregonians who want to check their ballot status can do so here. In Washington, the ballot box destroyed by an arsonist was in the city of Vancouver, in Clark County, where the county auditor is urging anyone who dropped off a ballot at Fisher’s Landing Transit Center between 11 AM Saturday and 4 AM Monday to request a replacement ballot online at VoteWA.gov. They can also check their ballot status hereLet’s spread the word about these resources to voters whose ballots might have been affected. And wherever we are, if we voted early, let’s make absolutely sure that our ballots were received by tracking our ballots.

  • TEXT WITH FIELD TEAM 6 TO HELP REGISTER VOTERS
We are invited to join Field Team 6 on Saturday, Nov. 2 to text unregistered likely Democrats in swing states.  Field Team 6 has helped register 2.3 million new Democrats and independent voters since 2019, the vast majority in swing states.  Their goal is to text an average of one million people each week.  All training provided; no prior experience necessary.  Let’s sign up here to help.
  • ABSENTEE BALLOT DEADLINES
Millions of us chose to use the absentee ballot option this year whether we are at home or abroad. It is said that if we’ve not yet mailed in our absentee ballots it is best to take them to a ballot box or to the clerk’s office. Can’t risk our vote not being counted.  Each state has its own deadlines for the return of those ballots.   Let’s check to make sure our ballots get in on time.

  • JOIN AMY SISKIND’S HIGH PRIORITY AREA GROUP CANVASS IN PA THIS WEEKEND
Amy Siskind is organizing a group canvass for next weekend, November 2nd and 3rd. It will be in a high priority area which has the highest turnout for Biden in 2020 other than Philadelphia. Amber Browning-Coyle is coordinating and can be contacted for  logistical questions here: abccoasttocoast@gmail.comWe can register for Amy Siskind’s Saturday and/or Sunday PA Group Canvas  here.  There is also a group dinner on Saturday night and we can register for it here.

  • SUPPORT DIRECT CANVASSING EFFORTS BY LOCAL ACTIVISTS IN SWING STATES
Seed the Vote works closely with local groups in critical areas to provide volunteers to knock on doors and talk directly with voters. They have had outstanding success in 2020 and 2022 and are ramping up their efforts in this election. We can support them financially or find ways to get involved here

  • ONE-STOP SHOP TO CASTING OUR BALLOTS
Republicans are continuing their efforts to suppress the vote and put up as many barriers as possible to us making our voices heard. Moving deadlines, fast-changing rules, voter registration purges and shuttered and shifted polling places are all part of their arsenal. But we can fight back! Common Cause has created a one-stop shop of voting tools to help folks cast their ballot where we can find where to vote, track our ballots, check our registration status, get detailed information on our state’s voting laws and more. Let’s check it out here and help spread the word to our networks and anyone who needs it.
  • TURN THE TAR HEEL STATE BLUE
We have major dangers and huge opportunities in North Carolina this cycle. Republicans are running an extraordinarily extremist slate, featuring a self-declared Nazi gubernatorial nominee who has spread conspiracy theories and hate and  endorsed political violence; an attorney general candidate who was a coup co-conspirator; and a pick for state superintendent of schools who was a participant in January 6th and has called for the military to overthrow the government. Democrats can block them from power, break the GOP’s legislative supermajority, protect a crucial seat on the state supreme court – and secure the electoral votes that will clinch the White House for Kamala Harris. There’s plenty of work to do! We can join the state’s text team here and find phonebanks here
  • CHECK OUR ABSENTEE BALLOT STATUSMillions of us have voted by absentee ballot this season.  There is a way that we and our family and friends can check the status of our ballots to verify that they have been formally accepted.  Let’s click here and make sure that our ballot has been received.  If it has not, this is a good time to follow up with your local election official.

  • SPANISH SPEAKERS NEEDED FOR PHONE BANKS
The PA Dems are reaching out to Hispanic and Latino voters across PA and need Spanish speakers from anywhere to help them.   They want to call Spanish-speaking voters to listen to their concerns, talk about the upcoming election and their voting plan, and give Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot the boost they need to win this November!  We will start with a short training on how to use our phonebanking system and a script overview. No prior phonebanking experience is needed.  If we speak Spanish, let’s click here to learn more and sign up!
