The final sprint

3 mins read

We’re in the final sprint.
Let’s bring this election over the finish line!

Our final fundraising effort for this election is going all out on our mission: supporting 3 GOTV groups, one from each of our 3 states. Each state organization is targeting a different group of voters who will be crucial for victory: voters of color in North Carolina, conservation voters in Pennsylvania, and pro-choice voters in New Hampshire. All three groups are experts in getting out the vote and will be sending experienced canvassers to knock on tens of thousands of doors, talking to voters who don’t always show up to the polls, and having those all-important conversations about their shared values.

Thank you to everyone for all the work you’ve put in over the last nine months. The best advice we can give is to ignore the polls: the election is incredibly close but WINNABLE.

Now is the time to go all out
so we can bring this home.
Our goal: $15,000

Pennsylvania: Environmental Voters — The Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania has honed its persuasion and turn-out techniques, building lists of voters, testing strategies, and recruiting volunteers. Our money will help fund an aggressive door-knocking and digital strategy to connect with voters who care deeply about the environment but who don’t always vote.

New Hampshire: Pro-Choice Voters — Planned Parenthood NH Action is focused on helping flip the Governorship and the statehouse, theAction Fundis all in for GOTV, knocking on doors, making phone calls, organizing on college campuses, and asking folks to pledge to vote for candidates up and down the ballot who support abortion rights.

North Carolina: Voters of Color — North Carolina is officially in the toss-up category. The NC A. Phillip Randolph Institute is part of a group of organizations that is working toward  knocking on 4 million doors. TheInstitute is one of the oldest, most effective GOTV efforts in NC. Their focus in these final months is knocking doors in main urban centers and key rural counties, where turnout of voters of color could determine the outcome of the presidential election, save a U.S. House seat, and put a Democrat in the governor’s seat.
