Conservation Voters Action Fund
Strategic Voter Engagement Campaign
In 2022, Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania Action Fund was instrumental in driving a massive number of voters to the polls helping secure a one-vote-majority in the pro-environment state house and elect Governor Josh Shapiro.
In 2024, it is critical not only to maintain and grow the state House majority but to make progress in the state Senate and in all of the state and federal level offices.Their plan is to drive voter turnout among pro-environment voters, with a particular focus on key BIPOC and low-income communities, as well as turning out young voters. Both groups have strong environmental interests. Young voters want actions that are going to protect their future from climate change. BIPOC communities, which disproportionately suffer the negative effects of environmental hazards, need actions that will provide clean air and water.CVPS Action Fund is running a robust, coordinated door-knocking program that will deploy pro-environment volunteers to communicate with members of their own communities about pro-environment candidates. The program aims to reach young voters and voters of color, groups critical to winning up and down the ballot in PA.
CVPA Action Fund Goal: $200,000. They raised $50,000 so far.
