            Protect the America We Love!

Aloha to all of you. We hope this Fourth of July weekend brings you some well-deserved time with family and friends. Please use it to save your energy and to reflect on how fortunate we are to be Americans. We’re going to need it once the holiday is over. We certainly have our work cut out for us. Last week’s one-two punch of President Biden’s debate performance and the Supreme Court granting Trump immunity for his crimes were enough to cause some to want to call time out. 

Not us. In an emergency meeting of the Indivisible Hawai’i Leadership Council yesterday, we decided there is no way we are going to change either course or speed. Come what may, Joe Biden is our candidate which he reaffirmed again today. Instead of spending valuable time speculating on the Biden’s role, Indivisible Hawai’i intends to spend every moment of the next five months redoubling everything we’re doing to influence national and state elections in states where our efforts can actually make a difference.

We must, must, must win a national trifecta in November. The presidency is vital, but so are the US Senate and House, which is why we are investing so much of our time targeting vulnerable Republicans at all three of those levels.  Our focus is to register likely Democratize voters in key districts of swing states – WI, MI, PA, AZ, NV, NC and GA.  (You might want to memorize this list or tape it to your bathroom mirror!) 

So “keep on keeping on”, as they say. This means stay focused; do nothing to undermine President Biden; concentrate on defeating Trump and winning down-ballot races in swing states; continue writing postcards, texting, phone-banking; donate as much as you can to Democrats in swing states.  (Not sure who to support? We’re all getting loads of emails and texts.  Email us-our team is connected to key Indivisible leadership across the country to know which races truly need our help.) 

Big thanks to all members for their efforts so far. We’ve been overwhelmed by your energy,  enthusiasm, generosity and patriotism. Join us, invite your friends, and let’s channel the outrage and panic we’re feeling into action that will result in Trump’s demise and four more years for the Biden team along with Congressional leadership to protect Democracy and hard fought for rights and freedoms, and move forward to dismantle MAGA control of SCOTUS.
