Election 2024

The Time to Act Is NOW
THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 5:30-7:30 PM

Join us in the Mad River Valley. This will be an opportunity to meet other election activists and learn more about what is ahead. Food, drink, and good conversation on a summer evening. Couldn’t get better than that! SPACE IS LIMITED.
North Carolina
Interested in Canvassing in NC? Tuesday, June 11, 4 pm via Zoom: Attend an informational meeting with the All In for NC Canvassing Organizer. She has been working with the Meck Dems to find housing, conduct trainings, and schedule canvass routes starting June 15 and running through Election Day. Email Dana at leanleftcvt@gmail.com to receive the Zoom link.
Pledge to Vote Postcards with Reclaim Our Vote. We are writing to registered Black voters in Mecklenburg County, asking them to Pledge to Vote. All the details for this drive—including how to request addresses, order postcards, and writing guidelines—can be found in this document.
Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania Inactive Voter Project. Are you ready for a challenge? The VoProPros (VPP) is an all-volunteer voter protection organization. This action is reaching thousands of voters who could be thrown off the voter rolls because they haven’t voted in past elections or have moved and not updated their registration. It has the potential to re-engage voters, providing them with information about how to re-register and get a mail-in ballot. Over 300,000 voters need to be contacted. Want to learn more? Contact us at LeanLeftcvt@gmail.com.
Write postcards to registered Democrats who are not yet on the annual mail-in ballot request list and live in Susan Wild’s Congressional District 07 whose seat is considered vulnerable. Susan’s legislative priorities include lowering prescription drug prices, expanding Medicare, supporting labor and education, addressing the climate crisis, and supporting PA-07’s thriving manufacturing sector. To sign up for this postcard action, contact us here with the subject line “PA District 7.”

PowerHour
Every Sunday (except Father’s Day!), 3-5 pm via Zoom: Take an hour and make some calls. This week, we’re calling Dems in Meck County, NC. These are easy calls to build community by inviting known supporters to a social event in their neighborhood. Sign up here for more information (indicate your experience level and, if needed, we can schedule a training).

Make the Road Pennsylvania
This month, we circle back to Pennsylvania, where we are supporting one of our favorite community organizing groups: Make the Road Pennsylvania. With a commitment to making change through civic engagement, Make the Road undertakes massive voter registration drives and voter education programs, especially among working-class people of color. The goal is to empower folks, showing them the connection between organizing, voting, and policies that improve their lives. Make the Road is a non-partisan group, which means that all donations are tax-deductible.
We’re five months out from this all-important election, and every single dollar and volunteer hour you can give will help. Thank you for everything you do.
