Write Letters with Us May 2 & 28

Thanks to all who wrote letters with us at Jimmy’s last week–and thanks to all our stamp donors.

In May, Indivisible Chicago-South Side continues our letter-writing project with Vote Forward. Hope to see you this week at the Nile and later this month at a special location.

Join us Thurs. May 2 & Tues. May 28 – RSVP here

This Thurs 5/2 at The Nile + New Spot on 5/28

Join us on either or both dates in May:

  • This Thursday, May 2nd, 6:00-8:00 pm: The Nile, 1162 E. 55th. We’ll get a few appetizers for the table, and then you order and purchase your own meal. The Nile is BYOB, so feel free to bring wine or beer to share.

  • Tuesday, May 28th, 6:00-8:00 pm: private home in Hyde Park. We’ll send you the address when you RSVP. We’ll serve pizza and soft drinks. Feel free to bring wine, beer, a salad, or a dessert to share if you wish.

Thanks to all our writers & stamp donors – RSVP here
As always, our generous letter leader, Steve Kagan, will bring pens, envelopes, and pre-printed Vote Forward letters for you to personalize to help get out the vote in key states and districts.

We encourage you to bring first-class stamps to donate. But the most important thing is to be there!

RSVP herefor either or both dates (or email your full name, cell phone number, and attendance date/s to Indiv.Chi.South@gmail.com).

Prefer to write at home? You can also print and write letters on your own! Get all the info at Vote Forward.

This Week – Why So Short?

Today you’re receiving a “newsbrief” instead of a full newsletter because our editor (Betsy) is away. Meanwhile, our Facebook page (curated by Teri) will continue to share information about IC-SS events and other opportunities. Thanks for keeping up with Indivisible Chicago-South Side!
