It’s Morning In America Thanks to Joe Biden!
After Four Disastrous Trump Years, Bidenomics Has Put Our Country Back On the Right Track.
Under Donald Trump, “Infrastructure Week” became a punchline. He announced the start of his initiative 10 times – and 10 times, Infrastructure Week was derailed by either something stupid or sinister that he or someone in his administration did. Under Trump, Infrastructure Week never launched.
In 2021, shortly after he took office, President Joe Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, a once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s infrastructure and competitiveness.
Since then, we can see the construction crews rebuilding our roads, bridges, ports and airports; replacing lead pipes to provide clean water to our homes; and providing affordable, high-speed internet to rural areas to serve every family in America, all this while creating good-paying jobs.
In August, 2022, Biden signed the CHIPS and Science Act which allocated roughly $53 billion in federal funding to manufacture semiconductor chips in the U.S. instead of relying on China to produce them.
The progress the Biden-Harris Administration has made in helping make ordinary Americans’ lives better in less than four years is remarkable, especially given the razor-thin margins Democrats have had in the House and Senate. This progress is being rolled out across the country. Ironically, Republicans in Congress who voted against these bills are tripping all over themselves to be there when Biden arrives with the money for their state.
Compared to his predecessors, Biden’s first two years were “among the most productive of any president in the past half century,” according to a November, 2022 analysis by the Atlantic.
Why then are some Democrats and Independents worried about Biden’s age, instead of focusing on the progress made by his administration? Biden’s years as Senator and Vice President make him the most experienced person to ever hold the office of President of the United States. Meanwhile, instead of governing, MAGA Republicans are focused on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

The GOP and the radical right-wing tried to pin a moniker on the Biden administration and it blew up in their faces. Bidenomics is now embraced and stands for middle-out, bottom-up economics. Trickle-down economics where regular Americans subsist on the crumbs is now hopefully, in the dustbin of bad ideas.
Bidenomics means low unemployment, falling inflation, an infrastructure boom, and a red-hot manufacturing sector. Bidenomics is for all Americans not just the wealthy and well-connected.
Bidenomics is working.

Robert Reich said that a major source of increased U.S. national debt is George W. Bush’s and Donald Trump’s huge tax cuts that help the ultra-wealthy and big corporations, adding almost $10 trillion dollars to the national debt by the end of 2023.
During the recent debt ceiling crisis when Congressional Republicans held our country’s economy hostage to their extremist demands, they refused to agree to more equitable tax provisions. They also insisted on reducing funding for the IRS that it would use to make ultra-wealthy tax cheats pay their fair share thereby reducing the national debt.
It’s clear that corrupt Congressional Republicans are working for their corporate masters and not for the constituents they were sent to Congress to represent.
The ultra-wealthy and big corporations contribute to Republicans’ political campaigns and goals, to rig the economy for their own benefit. Their greed is fueling the climate crisis and castrating democracy.
Republicans and their donors try to deflect and distract the American public, with scapegoating, racism, and lies to protect their obscene amount of wealth, stealing wages and resources from those who deserve a living wage and a habitable environment.
