Amplify your message with shared talking points

Amplify your message. Get supporters using the same talking points

Chorus members do better when they sing in unison.

It’s the same in politics. But how do you get your supporters to use the same talking points for maximum impact? Technology can help overcome the challenges of:

  • Supporter in different locations and who speak different languages
  • They have different levels of communication skills
  • Some prefer to listen to your message to learn how to say it
  • Some want to keep your talking points on their phones while delivering them
  • The talking points may have to be revised

Here’s how we used talking points from the Freedom Over Fascism toolkit to illustrate how to do it using AI, Audio.com and the Big Stage Teleprompter. These talking points were created in an hour and included both an audio and written version in both English and Spanish. The script can be shared with any number of supporters who can use it on their phones or laptops. The script can also be changed at any time.

Prepare your talking points

We used talking points from ASO Communications and the Research Collaborative who have several excellent talking points.

[Upon Correct Decision] Talking Points on D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Decision:
Use the hashtag #MAGACriminalTrial or #TrumpCriminalTrial
The former president [Trump] can and will be tried as a criminal – this is the only possible response to the unprecedented criminal conspiracy MAGA is perpetrating.
The court has made it clear: the law applies equally to everyone, whether you’re the former president [Trump] or any other American.
This case is ground zero for our most fundamental freedoms: this is the case of whether ‘we the people’ elect our leaders or a MAGA faction can seize and hold power.
The D.C. Circuit Court has upheld the Constitution and common sense.

Package and share your talking points

These talking points were converted into an audio file in both English and Spanish using free AI tools. Find out about these free tools here.
The script was loaded into the BigStage Teleprompter.
Links to the English and Spanish audio files were included in the teleprompter script. This lets your supporters listen to how the script sounds before they practice delivering your talking points themselves.
The URL for the BigStage Teleprompter script for #TrumpCriminalTrial was converted into a QR Code using the free QR Code Generator app.
Clicking the URL or scanning the QR Code will launch a free version of the teleprompter that your supporters can use to amplify your message.

ASO Communications

Host of the Words to Win By podcast and Principal of ASO Communications, Anat Shenker-Osorio examines why certain messages falter where others deliver. She has led research for new messaging on issues ranging from freedom to join together in union to clean energy and from immigrant rights to reforming criminal justice. Anat’s original approach through priming experiments, task-based testing and online dial surveys has led to progressive electoral and policy victories across the globe.

Research Collaborative

Research Collaborative (RC) has become a trusted go-to research, strategy, messaging, and collaborative convening hub for progressive national, state and local organizations working to realize the promise of a truly equitable, multi-racial democracy.
