Eyes Wide Open for Election 2024: Tools & Rules to Combat the Attack on Democracy
Our two guests are experts on why this election is the most consequential in our nation’s history and will offer insights and tools on what you can do.
- Denver Riggelman (Author, January 6 Committee Investigator, and Former Republican Congressman) will talk about his book “The Breach: The Untold Story of the Investigation into January 6th.”
- Anat Shenker-Osorio (Messaging expert, Podcaster and Founder of ASO Communications) will discuss how activists can respond to the threats against Democracy. Many of the topics she will cover are part of season 3 of her podcast “Words to Win By” launching January 16.

WOMEN ARE IN THE HOUSE CELEBRATION & ADVOCACY DAY– RSVP
- 10:00 am – EMERGE VIRGINIA FUNDRAISER (Truist Building, 3rd Floor at 919 E. Main Street, Richmond, VA)
- 11:00 am – Meet-up with Network NOVA immediately after the fundraiser (3rd floor, cafeteria).
- 12:00 pm –Emerge Virginia,Network NOVA,NWPC-VA, &Virginia NOW are recognized in the House & Senate galleries.
- 1:30 pm – Meet-up at Meriwether’s Cafe Coffee Bar in the new General Assembly Office Building (GOB) to regroup & organize our visits to elected offices to deliver welcome cards. We will walk the halls, meet the staff and let them know that women are in the house!
- 5:00 pm – Head over to the Network NOVA’s Women are in the House Happy Hour at the Richmond Marriott’s Fall Line Kitchen & Bar (500 East Broad Street). RSVP

Moms Demand Action Advocacy Day at the Capitol in Richmond
- 9:00 am – Moms DemandAction Event (Meet up at the Library of Virginia, 800 E Broad St., Richmond, VA 23219) Join Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers and Community Partners from across the state for the annual Advocacy Day at the Capitol in Richmond! We will meet up in the Library of Virginia for a short speaking program then go meet our lawmakers.
